I've wanted to start a blog for some time but was stuck at the very beginning. What to write!? It's easy to get caught up in trying to be original or funny, touching or informative. Should I document fashion trends? Post various photos? Satirize U.S. politics? My search continued until recently...the first Tuesday. A close someone and I found ourselves with a completely free day. We'd planned coffee with computers, a trip to the mall, a meal here and there, a Monty Python movie, and some hot toddies. We're fun as hell! Anyway...from this day, Tuesdays with Jonny arose.

5/17/11- trying to make some dough!

Just beyond the pile of my what could only be the collection of an only child, you'll see the utter concentration that today took.  We're trying to do some cool stuff so I'm getting ready to sell, sell, sell!  Anyone know if there's still a market for baseball cards?  Basketball?  Daltanias the Japanese robot?  Desert Storm cards?  I mean, throw me a freakin' bone!  I collected a lot of crap.

Text #1:  "My roses." "TIA from my parking lot."

Leslie, raindrops on roses and airplanes on runways?  These are a few of your...?  These pics give me hope that I may be in a warm climate again someday!

Text #2:  "Taco Tuesday"

That's what I look like after Tequilla Tuesday!  Erin has a 1 1/2 year old with a food coma.

Text# 3:  "Taking out anger at the gym.  Feels good."

Colte, if I used all those things at once, I'd be angry too!

Text #4:  "Woo spaghetti with meat after 2 weeks of veganism.  Thanks pancreas, you're awesome!"

Nick, it's not too often that you hear a shout out to a pancreas.  Like, "what up kidney!?  you getting everything sorted out?"

Text #5:  "Wearing winter boots and a winter coat and I'm still cold!  What's wrong with this picture?!

You're preaching to the choir Yvette.  In case you're one of my readers in a warm climate, let me fill you in.  It's still winter in the north.  Now you know!

Text #6:  "Tampa misses u!!!"

Kaeleen, aside from my wonderful Tampa family, I never realized how much I'd miss the place.  Sure there's the douche bags, lame college bars, terrible roads and the ghetto... but that sun is NICE!

Text #7:  "Being blown away by Boston, Massachusettes! :o)"

First of all, Stef, I appreciate the nose on your emoticon.  Few people take the time these days.  Secondly, it was nice of that older gentleman to extend his hand to you.  Clearly Mary Poppins back there is no help!

Text #8:  "My Tuesday was spent watching the Braves beat the Astros while working from home!"

Is that the MLB app Kelly!?  That's my favorite!  Helps me keep up with the Rays when I'm away from my baseball buddy and our box seats!

Final Thoughts

I'm gonna try and keep this brief because I still have about a zillion more baseball cards to go through, then there's tag sale prep, and apartment finding.  Keep focused!  Try to avoid pushing off for tomorrow what you can do today.  Much like last week, set goals and follow through.  I'll let you know how mine work out.  By the way, did anyone cross any tasks off their list last week?  I'm waiting to hear!

Till next time...
